Lowrider Cafe: Tacos, Sandwiches, and Trendy Vibes in Toledo

I wish I would have thought to take a picture of the plate I ordered today Chicken Mole, beans y rice, w/3 torlillas on the side of course. It was my first time, I'm here to reccommend a visit when your hungry for an authentic Mexican meal. The menu selection is vast. And because of this I will be returning. They are located directly across the main front door of the downtown Library. Hours 9a.m., breakfast to closing at 3:00 p.m. When I walked in, the aroma and flavors in my nose and tongue was nostalgic reminder of my childhood in my mom's kitchen. What day is we can only bring back with meals from a ginuine cook. Jamison and I had A great experience at this restaurant. The music was great, the service was great, and the food was great. The server and cook was very personable and down to earth. This has became one of my favorite restaurants now. My husband and I will definitely be back to enjoy this experience again. It gives you a Puertorican feel.

Amazing! My new favorite spot! The service was amazing. Our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. I asked her favorite dish, she suggested the homies bfast bowl. I was not let down, it was perfection! Also a perfect hangover cure! My only disappointment is I'm seeing previous reviews and pictures about special coffees, but I didn't know or see anything about special coffee. I'll just have to ask next time I go.

Lowrider Cafe is my husband's and my favorite place to get authentic Mexican street tacos and other absolutely delicious Mexican food. Chill, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I have loved everything I've ordered there. One of my favs is the crunchy papi. I normally order 2 or 3 tacos and crunchy papi is always one of them. We also love their fresh made tortilla chips and guac. It's our favorite lunch date spot and we often pop in to the library across the street to get a book afterwards.

In the heart of Toledo is this gem of a restaurant. The only thing that could match Jacob's hospitality is his cooking. Some of the best breakfast we've had, and for reference, we had breakfast for our wedding ceremony, so know what we're talking about

The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is always pleasant and are very good at anticipating your needs. I would definitely recommend you try this.

Absolutely loved this place; the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, this place was such a vibe, from the decor to the music; it is definitely a hidden little gem in Toledo. I highly recommend the chorizo scramble, as it was delicious. The breakfast, overall, was just slappin'. If you haven't tried it, definitely give it a shot!

This place is amazing. Chill atmosphere with a super friendly staff and the food is amazing. The owner is a great guy from the local area. The food is so flavorful and you have to get the rice !
